using rhythmbox-3.0.1-1+b2 space or enter just acts as play/pause if left
panel (I mean the panel containing Library and Playlists) is selected
otherwise it acts as next song.

It will play again from the beginning if you double click on the artist or
album, at least with 3.0.1-1+b2.
when you simple click on play again with a selected song it plays the one
selected.
perhaps rhythmbox should unselect songs after finished albums, queues or
lists.
