I could not reproduce this issue with gedit and gedit-common 3.8.3-4 nor
3.10.1-1
Package: gedit-common
Version: 3.10.1-1
I can confirm this issue with gedit 3.8.3-4 and 3.10.1-1.
As mlouis said editing the last line
of /usr/share/gedit/plugins/externaltools/tools/open-terminal-here
to gnome-terminal --working-directory=$GEDIT_CURRENT_DOCUMENT_DIR
solves it.
I have no ideia
If I try to open something with root using gedit-3.4.2-1 I got this:
# gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
** (gedit:14539): WARNING **: Could not connect to session bus
using 3.8.3-4 or 3.10.1-1 everything works fine.
Regards
yep, it's fixed with gedit 3.8.3-4
I could not reproduced the bug with gedit=3.8.3-3+b1, gedit-common=3.8.3-3,
libgtksourceview-3.0-1=3.8.2-1 and libgtksourceview-3.0-common=3.8.2-1
neither with gedit-3.8.3-4
do you still have this issue with 3.8.3-4 ?
