navit depends on libgps19 and libgps19 conflicts with fso-gpsd -- w/o
fso-gpsd gps on my freerunner is hardly usable. but with the conflict
navit isn't usable at all!
i seem to recall that no such conflict used to exist before 19.
why
well, the rermoval is caused by a sudden conflict of libgps19 with
fso-gpsd (fso-gpsd in turn does not know about that).
no idea, what the matter now and inhowfar navit might play a role here ...

the djungle of debian ways to build packages has caught me again.
it si impossible to cross compile dbus -- it alwasy builds amd64 (my
computer) .o files instead of arm-linux-gnueabi
wherever i put it, the target arm-linux-gnueabi is ignored.

_now_ it does return:

i am using kde4 for month now.
today, all of a sudden, after login kaboom starets and wants to migrate
my well working settings.
everytime i hit cancel, X crashes and i ma back to kdm -- and after

In order to definitely rule out aumix, please uninstall (and purge) it
and see whether the problem persists.
well, without aumix, it's the very same -- only i can't fix it, since
alsamixer misses the relevant control ...
thus, it _is_ pretty much an alsa issue.

after every boot, my audio is muted.
looking into aumix it shows the controls Volume and Pcm 2 set to zero --
although the were set to sensible values upon shutdown.
Pcm 2 only knows 0 or 100 and has to be 100 to make Volume work at all.

This sounds like many similar alsa bugs. Try just to purge aumix
'dpkg --purge aumix'. Maybe we should conflict aumix against
alsa-utils.
not really a solution -- i definitely prefer aumix over alsamixer.
what exactly causes the problem? i did not find a matching entry for
alsa-utils.

i don't really understand, what kernel genius decided to use _one_ rfkill
switch to disable _all_ radios, but anyway, because i use rfkill default
off to disbale wlan, bluetooth is obviously dead, too.
that leads to /etc/init.d/bluetooth somewhat
