http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=79eb238c76782a59d51adf8a3dd7f6444245b475 the Towitoko Chipdrive Reader on device /dev/ttySX can't use any more. You can test it with pcscd and geldkard from libchipcard-tools. libtowitoko2 crash or show "No readers available" if the kernel ist > 3.16.
