python3.3 in Debian; so it builds fine... but keeps using python3.2 ;-(

The patch works, absolutely. My issue was caused also by the deactivation
of 3d-support by vmware itself. I was missing DRI proper configuration in
the host machine and the vmware player couldn't activate the 3D support for
the guest. When I've fixed that by configuring DRI properly, the patch
Patched, recompiled, installed but the issue seems unchanged. Same X.org
log, same fallback mode. 3D acceleration still disabled.

Still happening with initscripts 2.88dsf-24, so the fix might not have
been packaged or proven effective. Manual workaround works, though.

remember.
Ideally, a good solution would be to lower down your speakers
volume :-D.

http://release.debian.org/transitions/html/cogl.html I don't see totem,
which depends on libcogl5.
