Package: calamares Severity: normal Tags: d-i X-Debbugs-Cc: je...@sney.ca Dear maintainer,
Following a discussion in IRC, I noticed that my system, which was installed via calamares, only has the following options in /etc/crypttab: > luks,keyscript=/bin/cat This is inconsistent with a note in the crypttab(5) man page which notes the following in the description of the 'discard' option: > Starting with Debian 10 (Buster), this option is added per default to new > dm-crypt devices by the Debian Installer. Since calamares upstream has determined this to be a distro-specific choice[1], it would probably make sense to change the default in calamares to match the conventional installer.
