Dear Maintainer,

I was trying to run Scala (the musical scale one written in Ada,
not the JVM one). To get sound output to work, I need to modprobe
snd_virmidi, start Timidity as a daemon, and make virmidi port 0
output to Timidity with aconnectgui or Patchage (patchage is not in main).
The instructions actually say to start Timidity *after* setting up the
patch cable in aconnectgui/patchage but until I start Timidity
aconnectgui can't see the Timidity port.

That brings me to this bug: I have to restart alsa midi, modprobe -R
snd_virmidi, etc. (easier to reboot the system!) if I make a mistake,
because the scissors tool in aconnectgui doesn't break connections
like it's supposed to. Instead, it *makes* connections, like the
patch cable tool.
