In the changelog, please use some description for the package description
change additionally to the Closes: tag.
Please name the patch filename with some descriptive name, not just the version
number which introduced it.
When you have provided a version that fixes those, I am inclined to spon

You do not need dpkg-source --commit to just edit a patch. Use whatever editor
you like.
