Until recently, when I plugged a USB drive into my system, udiskie would automount it under /media/<username>, just as it's supposed to. For the last week or so, it's not doing that any longer. I tried explicitly putting "--automount --notify" into its command line, but that made no difference. One consequence of this problem is that, if you run udiskie with "--smart-tray", as I do, the tray icon never shows up. Worse, you can't use it to power down the external device when you're finished with it. I was able to use udisksctl to mount and unmount drives, so udisks2 is probably not the problem. I note that neither udisks2 nor udiskie has been updated for some time, and I haven't changed any of their config files. However, I do note that a new version of dbus arrived a week or two back, so perhaps the problem lies in that.
