Package: recap Version: 2.1.0-1 Severity: important >From /usr/share/doc/grep/NEWS.Debian.gz of grep 3.8-1:
From upstream's NEWS: The egrep and fgrep commands, which have been deprecated since release 2.5.3 (2007), now warn that they are obsolescent and should be replaced by grep -E and grep -F. To follow upstream's behaviour, the Debian-specific rgrep command is obsolescent. For the moment, it is just no longer documeted. Hence that warning emitted by the cron job which runs every 5 minutes and hence generates a mail every 5 minutes. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (600, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'buildd-unstable'), (110, 'experimental'), (1, 'experimental-debug'), (1, 'buildd-experimental') merged-usr: no Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.18.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages recap depends on: ii gawk 1:5.1.0-1 ii iotop 0.6-42-ga14256a-0.1 ii iproute2 5.19.0-1 ii links 2.27-1+b1 ii procps 2:3.3.17-7+b1 ii sysstat 12.5.6-1 recap recommends no packages. recap suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
