bison++ is a fork of a 1990s version of bison, addressing limitations GNU bison had at that time. Except for vice (see the bug blocking this bug) it is not used anymore in Debian, and users should use the bison package (or other Yacc implementations) instead of this old fork. If you as maintainer agree that bison++ is a candidate for removal from bookworm, please raise the severity of this bug to release critical.
