Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Dear ftpmasters,
please remove gnuift, the "GNU Image Finding Tool - index and search images by content" package. It FTBFS since 2018, and is orphaned since 2008 (no typo). For a while apparently there was some interest in keeping the package in Debian on life support, but seemingly this has died down. It also missed the last stable release, given it FTBFS even longer.
