the package fails to build from source for the architectures alpha, armhf, hppa and x32 since a few versions. For armhf this situation is new as opm-common now fails to build reliably from source for this architecture. For the others these problems that appeared with more checks introduces with 2022.10 The main reason for having opm-common is to be able to build opm-simulators. As that is not built for these architectures, having those in Debian is of little use even if they would build from source. Note that the architecture list of the latest version is already adapted to only build successfully for the needed architectures (i.e. Architecture: amd64 arm64 armel ia64 m68k mips64el mipsel ppc64el riscv64).
