Package: xsettings-kde Version: 0.9-2+b2 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: an.in...@free.fr
Dear Maintainer, The plasma desktop doesn't depend on xsettings-kde. And xsettings-kde doesn't depend on the xsettingsd package. Since 5.27, xsettingsd is required for the GTK applications to get the KDE HiDPI scaling configuration. So when upgrading from Bullseye to Bookworm on a system with a HiDPI screen all the GTK application can be off by default. Making the Plasma desktop depend on xsettings-kde, and xsettings-kde depend on xsettingsd, would fix this problem and give a better "out of the box" experience. If not depend, at least recommend would help.
