Package: xss-lock Version: 0.3.0+git20230128.0c562b-1 Severity: important On my system, xss-lock works exactly once. Then, after entering the password, it crashes with:
# xss-lock xsecurelock ** (xss-lock:1213549): WARNING **: 12:24:06.393: Error getting session: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.login1.NoSessionForPID: PID 1213549 does not belong to any known session xss-lock: ./src/xss-lock.c:469: logind_session_set_locked_hint: Assertion `logind_session' failed. fish: Job 2, 'xss-lock xsecurelock' terminated by signal SIGABRT (Abort) That's a problem, because it means that lid-closing and suspend no longer lock the screen. I believe I'm running a standard setup (systemd, gdm3, gnome flashback), so I'm not sure why it's complaining about logind.. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.0 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-10-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages xss-lock depends on: ii libc6 2.36-9 ii libglib2.0-0 2.74.6-2 ii libxcb-screensaver0 1.15-1 ii libxcb-util1 0.4.0-1+b1 ii libxcb1 1.15-1 xss-lock recommends no packages. xss-lock suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
