Package: ftp.debian.org

beignet FTBFS with LLVM > 9 (#974792), and hence cannot be built in current unstable. (The existing package probably still works, because beignet statically links LLVM to avoid #852746, but unbuildable packages are unreleasable by policy.)

beignet is abandoned upstream and mostly replaced by intel-opencl-icd.

Some older hardware (Ivy Bridge/Haswell) is supported by beignet-opencl-icd but not intel-opencl-icd. This hardware can use pocl-opencl-icd, but a rough estimate suggests that this will be ~8-16x slower. This was raised during the discussion in #974792, and I am CCing those people in case they want to object to removal, but they didn't have a way to fix beignet.
