Just also noticed that 'bash --rcfile' returns an 'option requires an argument' error... as expected, of course... :) ... but ::: it just feels strange when the argument may be invalid and just ignored... like ::: 'bash --rcfile ""' ... or 'bash --rcfile "non-existing"'.
again... if this is supposed to be expected from --rcfile and --init-file... i suggest adding a --existing-rcfile... :) ... or just give other use to the redundant --init-file and get it to complain about a missing file.
