This does not seem to be a problem with rebuilding per se. I can not reproduce it, and I don't see a way a "dirty tree" could cause this failure. The log shows a timeout in a pyexpect script, so I hypothesize that the 2nd build just ran slower than the first - and very slow in general. My plan for this is to remove the default timeouts during the build and just rely on buildd timeouts for any hangs. -dann
