Dear Hilmar, Thank you for a quick answer. Note that the version of the package NewTX (most likely, 1.726 (cf. https://ctan.org/pkg/newtx), since all the mentioned bugs are repaired, whereas it was not the case for a few immediately preceeding versions) deviates from the version of the file
