I get entries like

  accounts-daemon[1147]: Language 'C.utf8' set for user X is invalid

in the journalctl output.

This is probably because I have the LANG environment variable set to
"C.UTF-8". But this is a valid locale.

Note also that doing "dpkg-reconfigure locales" and choosing C.UTF-8
also has the effect to set LANG=C.UTF-8 in /etc/default/locale.
