gpsd installs its systemd service into /lib/systemd/system, apparently ignoring the systemd.pc pkg-config data. Please make sure to install into /usr/lib/systemd/system on trixie, but keep installing into the old location for bookworm-backports. Please see the wiki page [1] for details on how to move.
