Package: qt5-gtk-platformtheme Version: 5.15.10+dfsg-6 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: koce...@tutanota.com
Dear Maintainer, When using Gnome/Wayland, if you install qt5-gtk-platformtheme, and try to run keepassxc for example, you can notice that it's using a generic qt5 theme, and not the one that the system is using. Cursor size is also messed up. This can be worked around by setting `QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb`. The environmental variable is not needed when using X11. Steps to reproduce: 1. Have a working GNOME setup 2. Log into a wayland session 3. Install qt5-gtk-platformtheme and keepassxc 4. Run keepassxc and notice that the theme is all messed up. 5. Try running it as follows: `QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb keepassxc` or start it from an X11 session, and notice that the proper theming is applied. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (10001, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages qt5-gtk-platformtheme depends on: ii libc6 2.37-13 ii libglib2.0-0 2.78.3-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.39-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.51.0+ds-3 ii libqt5core5a [qtbase-abi-5-15-10] 5.15.10+dfsg-6 ii libqt5dbus5 5.15.10+dfsg-6 ii libqt5gui5 5.15.10+dfsg-6 ii libstdc++6 13.2.0-9 ii libx11-6 2:1.8.7-1 qt5-gtk-platformtheme recommends no packages. qt5-gtk-platformtheme suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
