I have to keep login information for several months. A seperate config file /etc/logrotate.d/wtmp.conf would make it much easier to override the default without annoying EMails from logrotate about the duplicate log entry for /var/log/wtmp each day. So please count me in. Harri -- To

Hi, Is anything happening regarding this wishlist bug? Are there any problems/considerations/reasons that apply to this IMHO very useful request? To avoid any name clashes, I'd suggest moving the wtmp/btmp entries into - /etc/logrotate.d/logrotate-wtmp - /etc/logrotate.d/logrotate-btmp
