hi Mozilla-mail will always thread together messages with the same subject, regardless of if they are part of a thread or not the advanced configuration mail.thread_without_re should control this behaviour (according to an unreadable piece of documentation I fished out from http://www4.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/Services/Doc/AdvancedPrefs.html ) but I tried it and it does not work this bug affects also the latest version in Debian/sarge in general, the whole threading method of mozilla-mailnews _sucks_ (wrt what Mutt does , for example - unfortunately Mutt does not deal well with IMAP and with HTML messages :-( ) a. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages mozilla-mailnews depends on: ii mozilla-browser 2:1.7.5-1 The Mozilla Internet application s -- no debconf information -- Andrea Mennucc "Ukn ow,Ifina llyfixe dmysp acebar.ohwh atthef"
