No, unless a new upstream maintainer takes over. I haven't heard from
the original author in years.

Currently, when attempting to mount a dirty HFS+ filesystem as r/w, the
kernel gives the error:
HFS+-fs warning: Filesystem was not cleanly unmounted, running fsck.hfsplus
is recommended. leaving read-only.
There is no fsck.hfsplus.
