I run squid in its default configuration. Today for the first time I
got this message from logcheck:

Why should this be a bug?
Squid is simply informing you that someone made a request with an header
longer than 20k. As the /etc/squid/squid.conf states about
request_header_max_size
This specifies the maximum size for HTTP headers in a request.
Request headers are usually relatively small
