When I follow "add to Address Book" from buddy's menu, gaim let me choose the contact from AB to associate with the current (ie: already existent in my buddy list). When selected, gaim duplicates the buddy entry: the old one remains with the old nick a gave to it, and a new one has been added with first and second name (from AB). I've tested it with ICQ and AIM. It's clearly a bug both: - if I give a buddy a nick, it should be not changed. - if I follow "add to Address Book" from the 'menu of the buddy" means that the buddy itself is already in my list, why re-add it? last :), since a buddy added from AB cannot be removed from gaim (if I remove it, next time I login it is re-shown), at least when I try to remove it some sort of popup should be shown like "this buddy has been added from your address book, remove it from there or next time you'll login it will be reshown".
