Package: bacula-fd,bacula-sd,bacula-director-common
Version: 1.36.1-1
Severity: normal

here is a suggestion to make bacula init scripts more flexible.
bacula allows the location of the pid file to be configured,
so the init script should be able to cope with it.

all init scripts have something like:
PIDFILE=/var/run/bacula/$NAME.$PORT.pid

as far as I know pid files should be in /var/run/ without a
subdir.

but to be flexible, you could grep the config file for
"Pid.*Directory" (ignore case) and use that directory
instead of the hard coded /var/run/bacula/

Thanks,

Andreas
