Package: bzflag Version: 2.0.0.20050118 Severity: normal bzflag segfaults if I change video resolution in the options menu. After 2 tries of restarting, mode changing and crashing I tried to start it with strace to get a syscall trace of the crash. But then bzflag freezes my complete I/O-system on startup. Screen stays black with only the labels "All", "Chat", "Server" and "Misc" in the lower right corner. I could not switch to a text console anymore, no keyboard input at all was possible. System was still running, login over network was working (ssh). bzflag could only be killed with SIGKILL. But neither screen nor keyboard came back after killing of bzflag. I had to reboot the machine.
I haven't had such problems with bzflag 1.10 or any other "fullscreen" applications on this system before.
