I've run into this bug as well. However I am also able to reproduce this
bug. It only hits when the user first run fluxbox, with empty
~/.fluxbox/init file.
version:
fluxbox (0.9.11-1)
1. backup or move ~/.fluxbox to ~/.fluxbox.backup
2. restart fluxbox or X.
