Package: reportbug Version: 3.2 Severity: minor
Hi, I'm not a Unix guru, I just can use the system. As many other people I'm not too kind on VI, I use emacs, each time I have to use it I must remember how to insert, how to save or quit ... Today I used reportbug and I was surprised it redirected me on VIM. I managed to send my bug but I think that many people aren't be able to send any report with VI without help. Maybe you could just display a little help message that explains how to insert chars, how to quit insertion, how to save and how to quit. I feel really lucky each time I manage to quit VI without killing the process :-) Bye, Mickaël -- Package-specific info: ** /home/mickael/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "3.2" mode novice ui text realname "mickael" email "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" smtphost "smtp.free.fr" -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-1-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii python2.3 2.3.4-19 An interactive high-level object-o -- no debconf information
