I've just successfully compiled mn-fit 5.13-1 (the currently available source package) on amd64, against cernlib 2005.05.09.dfsg-3 (which at the moment is in incoming). Not closing this bug since I have reason to suspect that it will still fail on ia64 and alpha; the fixes to cernlib were derived from Harald Vogt's AMD64 page and are amd64-specific.
