Hi Thomas, yesterday, Andreas Köhler merged the new AqBanking code into trunk. This means the next release, which is expected to be available latest 21st of July 2008, does finally support AqBanking 3.x.
If you want to push Gnucash 2.2.6 into Lenny you might want to ask Debian Release Managers in advance for a freeze exception for Gnucash.
