Package: qemu Version: 0.6.1-1 Severity: normal I can run Knoppix under qemu, but trying to run it under qemu-fast leads to an immediate segfault. Here are the commands I used:

I put strace output at http://debian.tagancha.org/bugs/qemu-fast.strace.1.bz2 I would be happy to provide any additional data or do the testing. I am running qemu on a SMP machine (2x2.8GHz P4 Xeon with HT) and the regular qemu is slower than I can tolerate for my work, so I'd really like to get qemu-fast working.
