Howdy, In the message forwarding this patch upstream,
http://www.abridgegame.org/pipermail/darcs-devel/2005-July/002931.html it was stated that the use case was unknown, so here's my attempt to provide one: I would like to manage my home directory with darcs. To facilitate this, I'd like to use "darcs what -l" to determine which files still need to be checked in or ignored. Unfortunately, Blam and Totem both create sockets in my home directory, which darcs cannot handle, so I can't use the aforementioned command. -- Matt
