Package: firefox Version: 1.5.dfsg-3 Followup-For: Bug #305355 Hi, Whenever I switch to this page I get extremely high load generated by Xorg: http://paulgraham.com/wealth.html This CPU suck quickly stops (in 0.3sec or so), but it is extremely annoying since everything (even music) freezes for that time. It is enough to switch to another window, or switch to another tab and get back to repeat this spike. Similar spikes are when I move another window on top of that page. I got so angry with this "feature" so that I removed ~/.mozilla and started fresh, but it did not help. Now I have Adblock and NoScript blocking javascript and other redundant things, but it still does not help in Paul Graham's essays. It seems that the problem is somehow connected with window/picture/map repaint. And still there are spikes even if the window does not have to be repainted (the contents is intact), so at least there, there is something to optimize.
