I'd like to propose using a little more verbose message what would
the implication were if the default choice is selected. 

A suggestion:

  fdmount is not set up as root, which is secure. Good
  Do you want to change it (y/N/?):  

capitalising the "N" would also be in par with e.g. other shell
programs like used in configuring kernel.
