I don't understand why this is needed. That's fairly clearly the
default keytab that sshd will use.

Working with heimdal-kdc 0.6.3 and ssh-krb5 3.8.1p1 it became
necessary to include the following:
[libdefaults]
default_keytab_name = FILE:/etc/krb5.keytab
Without this entry sshd was reporting it could not find GSSAPI
