Package: libgtk2.0-dev Version: 2.6.4-2 Severity: normal While updating to libgtk2.0-dev 2.6.4-2, I noticed that the size of the package dropped rather severely. Investigating further, it appears that all of the static libraries have been removed from the package, leaving only the header files and the .so symlinks. I don't use the static libraries myself, but there was no mention in the changelog about removing them, so I must ask: are the static libraries supposed to be in there?
