When adding a new entry to sources.list I've noticed I often (always?)
get an error the first time I do an update.
E.g., I changed my entry for security from woody to sarge, and got
this in response to apt-get update
W: Couldn't stat source

Yep. Also, these are only warnings, and not errors (I expect they are
harmless).
