Package: procps Version: 1:3.2.5-1 Severity: normal The problem is, update-rc.d does not like '.' in scripts names. So the update-rc.d called in postinst has no effect. This may be a bug in update-rc.d, but I suggest you rename procps.sh to procps to work around this. It would be more consistent with other init scripts anyway.
