Package: imagemagick Version: 6:6.2.4.5-0.2 Severity: normal ImageMagick utilities fail to load GIF images that contain a deferred clear code in LZW compression, as mentioned in: http://www.w3.org/Graphics/GIF/spec-gif89a.txt
Example of such image: http://www.plush.de/brix/files/everest.gif For example, "display" says "corrupt image" about this picture. I'm not sure which library does ImageMagick use for reading GIF, so I didn't know where to file this bug. Please file a bug to Debian or upstream to whatever library that causes the bug. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (995, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (90, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-2-k7 Locale: LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R (charmap=KOI8-R) Versions of packages imagemagick depends on: ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.2-10 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdps1 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 Display PostScript (DPS) client li ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.4 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjasper-1.701-1 1.701.0-2 The JasPer JPEG-2000 runtime libra ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii liblcms1 1.13-1 Color management library ii libmagick9 6:6.2.4.5-0.2 Image manipulation library ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-5 PNG library - runtime ii libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System Session Management ii libtiff4 3.7.4-1 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxml2 2.6.22-2 GNOME XML library ii libxt6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Toolkit Intrinsics ii xlibs 6.8.2.dfsg.1-7 X Window System client libraries m ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-4 compression library - runtime imagemagick recommends no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
