Package: udev Version: 0.076-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable I installed udev; I did *not* purge /etc/hotplug, as requested during install, because I noticed that udev actually uses information in /etc/hotplug. When I attempt to boot 2.6.12 I get a kernel panic:
