Package: courier-imap Version: 4.0.6-0.2 Severity: normal When testing the OUTBOX feature of courier-imap I noticed that it worked when using the daemon through a socket, but not in preauth mode typically used by mutt with the tunnel setting:
set tunnel="/usr/bin/ssh my.imap.server /usr/bin/imapd" In this case the message is copied to INBOX.Outbox but not passed on to /usr/sbin/sendmail. However if connecting to imapd through port 143 it works. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-10-debian-zenon Locale: LANG=en_CA, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US) Versions of packages courier-imap depends on: ii courier-base 0.52.1-0.2 Courier Mail Server - Base system ii libc6 2.3.5-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 [libfam0] 2.7.0-7 client library to control the FAM ii libgdbm3 1.8.3-2 GNU dbm database routines (runtime ii postfix [mail-transport-agent 2.2.6-1 A high-performance mail transport courier-imap recommends no packages. -- debconf information: courier-imap/moveconfig: true -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
