OK, maybe I wasn't clear enough: I had no idea what eth1394 is or why it is there. I did not ask for it to be there. I only knew: 1. When I removed eth1394 module and reloaded my 8139 module it was OK 2. I suspect udev chose to load it, and I cannot figure out why 3. With the previous version
