I just reinstalled a Woody (on another disk, so I kept the other around for debugging, if necessary), and then upgraded it to Etch yesterday on the same machine, and this corruption bug disappeared. It seems to me it has something to do with some upgrade in Etch. Regards -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, ema
