Suggestion for a temporary solution. I don't know, if this is the right
way to do it, but it worked for me.
Just make a symlink /usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 pointing to
/usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1, and the run 'dpkg-reconfigure gsfonts-x11'.

Is there a solution to this bug ?
I think that the severity could be set to serious, because the aim of this
package is to make gsfonts available under X, and for now it is not the case,
so the package is unusable.
