Package: ruby-defaults
Severity: normal

Hi,

I've tried to compile an application depending on libruby and the
configure script failed cause it couldn't find libruby.so
I solved the problem by making a symlink from /usr/lib/libruby1.8.so to
/usr/lib/libruby.so

The libruby version may change over the time, then libruby.so link must
be updated to the current version.

I don't know to which binary package (libruby-dev or libruby) libruby.so
symlink should belongs, and thats why I reported here.

Att,
Gilmar Santos Jr.
