Package: emacs Version: 21.4.1 Severity: normal When I have a buffer open to a file in one directory (such as, say, "/dir1/afile[1-3]", and I have a shell open in emacs and cd to a different directory, such as "/dir2/afile[4-6]", entering something like 'ls f' and trying to use the TAB key to expand out possible completions of a word gives the correct listings for /dir1, not /dir2 (that is, it will give file1, file2, and file3, not file4, file5, and file6).
