Package: libtext-wrapi18n-perl Version: 0.06-5 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I upgraded Ubuntu 6.06.1 to Debian/tesing. I added sources.list entiries for the Debian archive and added Pinnings for Debian and Ubuntu releases into /etc/apt/preferences so that all Ubuntu's packages will be downgraded to the Debian ones if version in Ubuntu is grater than in testing. While performing the upgrade I encountered that libtext-wrapi18n-perl does not depend on belocs-locales-bin, but uses /usr/bin/locale binary from it. libtext-wrapi18n-perl is used by debconf and failing ivocation of this binary is performed on every install/upgrade. As a result I was unable to install dhcp3-server - it produced endless error messages until I installed belocs-locales-bin manually. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (1010, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-2-686 Locale: LANG=, LC_CTYPE= (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages libtext-wrapi18n-perl depends on: ii libtext-charwidth-perl 0.04-3 get display widths of characters o libtext-wrapi18n-perl recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
